Chevy 350 Engine Specs. The Chevy 350 engine is a 350 cubic inch (5.7-liter) small block V8 with a 4.00 and 3.48 inch bore and stroke. Depending on the year, make and model of a car, horsepower ranges from approximately 145 to more than 370. Rated at up to 380 pound-feet of torque, this engine is great for towing; however, fuel economy is low. The L98's used in the Corvette are not the same block as used in the L98 f-bodies. F-body L98's are 2-bolt mains. Corvette L98's are all 4-bolt mains. All truck one-piece rear main 350 blocks are 4-bolt mains. Not all truck one-piece rear main 350 blocks used roller cams, but they are roller blocks. Hope that clarifies the issue.-----. nope, it'll be a cast crank unless somebody put a steel crank in it, but it is a 4 bolt main. Steel cranks in 350's came in High HP versions only, like the 'vette all years, camaro in '68-70, chevelle same years I think. Other than that the steel crank can be found in c60 chevy and GMC medium duty trucks as standard equipment.
